Organic Acids Test

This test is the go-to test for many top Functional Medicine Practitioners throughout North America. I have to agree! This test has helped me in my practice for identifying underlying dysfunctions attributed to many chronic illnesses among patients and clients. When the puzzle gets complicated, this is the test that can unravel the mystery of your long-term distress.

The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with over 70 markers.  It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria as well as very important neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine levels. Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue, and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders (ADHD/ADD, Autism, anxiety, and depression) often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, HPA axis dysregulation as well as genetic factors.

Please download the Organic Acids Test brochure for detailed information on this how this test can help you and your children.
